2006 All-Star Selection Process
 8 Yr Old Lyndhurst Team

This Lyndhurst All-Star team is not sanctioned by Williamsport Little League.

The 8 Year Old All-Star Team will be made up of 15 player’s total.

The Manager for the 8 Yr Old Lyndhurst All-Star team will be determined by the HHLL Executive Board.

Coaches of the Lyndhurst All-Star team may be selected from any Division, but only after the team has been selected.

8 YR OLD LYNDHURST ALL-STAR TEAM SELECTION PROCESS

The Team shall be determined on the basis of a tryout.

Any 8 year old playing in Minor A is automatically eligible for tryout.

At the time of the All-Star try-out, all players’ parents (or guardian) will need to sign an “All-Star Commitment Form”. This form describes the time commitment (June 15 – July 25)   necessary for All-Star participation as well as advising of the League Rule that the missing of THREE PRACTICES (scrimmages are considered a PRACTICE) OR TWO OFFICIAL GAMES will result in the player being removed from the All-Star team. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE GIVEN.  Failure to meet these attendance requirements will impact a player’s eligible opportunity to participate on future Post Season teams.

Every Manager in Minor B shall submit the names of three 8 year olds that they believe have demonstrated the ability during the regular season to participate in the Lyndhurst All-Star tournament.

The Manager, Player Agent and a Executive Board  member outside of that division will evaluate the tryout. In the event the Player Agent is not available to evaluate the tryout, the League President will serve in that role.

 It will be the sole responsibility of the Manager, Player Agent and the Executive Board member to determine the 15 players for this All-Star team.

Only those players who have made the Lyndhurst All-Star team will be notified within 48 hours after the try-out evaluation.  Team will be posted on the website.
