FUND RAISING

Our League is a non-profit organization that relies heavily on volunteer support. We are NOT AFFILIATED WITH THE TOWN and receive only a small stipend from the Recreation Department (approx. $775.00). We do receive support from the DPW in the form of grass cutting. The registration fee charged covers ONE-THIRD of the cost for a player. The rest comes from fund raising and sponsor support. WE REQUIRE, THAT ALL PARENTS PARTICIPATE FOR ONE EVENING AT THE CONCESSION STAND.  Volunteers are also sought to act as coaches, coordinators for fund raising etc.

door to door canvass

 
The League Managers and Coaches along will all the team players will drop off and pick up envelopes on specified weekends for this years door to door canvass

Pancake Breakfast / sports auction

 This year marks the 10th annual pancake breakfast/sports auction and is one of the best events of the year, Kids and parents alike look forward an array of sports memorabilia up for auction at the event. A lot of hard work is put into this event and many volunteers are needed for this function to be a success.

Candy Sale

 
This year’s candy sale will feature a premium box of candy (all brand name), which all players are required to sell, unless the candy less option, ($40.00) per player was taken. All children will be given two weeks to sell candy. No candy less option offers will be given after March 1 do to candy being ordered.
